Overview
Living Reviews are scientific open-access journals, publishing review articles that provide insightful surveys on the research progress and literature in the fields they cover. Its unique concept allows authors to regularly update their articles to incorporate the latest developments. In June 2015, the series was sold to Springer.
The concept of Living Reviews was developed by Bernard Schutz and Jennifer Wheary, who started the first journal, Living Reviews in Relativity, in 1998 at the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics.
